Even today, in northern India, among the Great Himalaya tops, the remote region of Zanskar remains isolated in winter. Twelve days of walk on ice, snow and rocks to cover about 120 km surrounded by an almost surreal landscape, sleeping in tents or caves with extremely low temperatures.
